1st Series Magician pencil/ink

This is Nathaniel Hex's, very pieced together, uniform that he wears when out on patrol defending Raven Crest.  It consist of no more then basic clothing and accessories he has found around the farm.  The hood he wears is to cover his obvious hairstyle while he conceals his identity by wearing a pair of old goggles and a bandana over his mouth and nose.  The gloves of course are to protect his hands and the fanny pack for storage of small items.

I was asked by the owner of an online magazine if I would be interested in featuring 'Tales Of The Kryvesic Orb' in his magazine as a comic.  Of course I am very excited and very honored for the opportunity.  I am definitely considering it.  We have to discuss it more but I am leaning in the direction of "Yes.".  Stay tuned for updates and information on this topic.

*** T.K.O. Update ***

I have decided to combine book 1 (The Magician) and book 2 (Orb Bearer) from the first series of 'Tales Of The Kryvesic Orb', as a result of this being the origin series.  I felt that giving more in the beginning would allow my readers to become familiar with the story and the characters: Tobias Hex, Courtney Cross, and of course Nathaniel Hex.  Be prepared for 2  introductory volumes  of how a young boy will become one of the worlds greatest heros.

Here is a headshot of our young  hero in training, Nathaniel Hex.  
Penciling was done by Dar-Rell Kenneth Henderson, a freelance artist in the Philadelphia area.  Dar-Rell has agreed to be the primary artist for any and all illustrations; sequential or otherwise for the first series of, "Tales Of The Kryvesic Orb".  Along with his skill I am very confident that this picture novel will deliver an explosive collection of art work and a mind awing read.

Nathaniel is a teenage boy who is more passive then he is aggressive.  In school he is one of the teachers prized students but being that does nothing for his social status.  He only has a few friends, Margot Mei, being on the top of that short list, so he spends most of his time consumed in his school work and his 'Adventures Of Dakota John' comic novels.
When his grandfather, Tobias Hex, asked for him to come visit for the summer, he had no idea that his life was going to be changed from that point on.  His grandfather reveals some very deep family secrets to him that sends him on a journey of confusion and curiosity.  After being entrusted with these family secrets, Nathaniel embarks on his very own journey through life a changed young man forever.

New Fantasy-Fiction Picture Novel Coming 2011

Ok, so I have been working on the idea of starting my own comic book for a couple of years now.  However, because I love writing sooooo much, and couldn't really see doing so much work and people only really noticing the pictures,  I decided to take a somewhat different approach with it.  It will be a 'Fantasy-Fiction Picture Novel'.

What is that?  

OK, well a 'picture novel' is very similar to a 'graphic novel' but it isn't told through only sequential art.  It will be a variation of full page text and sequential and also full page graphics.

I am working with a very talented artist who is a bit on the confused side about my construction choice but, he is supporting the possibility of what it can be.  The title of the novel is 'Tales Of The Kryvesic Orb' and it should be released in 2011.  Please leave your comments and questions and don't forget to follow me to stay informed.  More information on 'Tales Of The Kryvesic Orb' (T.K.O.) will be coming very soon.  Thank you.
